About Dr. Kevin Brewer

Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Brewer now lives and practices in California, where he proudly offers the full scope of oral surgery procedures. He pursued oral surgery because he saw it as an opportunity to challenge himself and create a bigger impact in his community. He appreciates the patient-centered method of care at California Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center and knew that this practice would allow him to improve the health of others while working alongside a team of highly skilled professionals.

Dr. Brewer understands the importance of relating to his patients and takes the extra time to explain the procedure and answer questions. He wants patients to feel relaxed and informed about their treatment options and to know that he will provide compassionate care from start to finish.

Education and Training

Dr. Brewer graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors from Ouachita Baptist University. He then earned his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry, where he graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Brewer completed internships in both oral surgery and general surgery before finishing his OMS residency at the University of Florida, Jacksonville. To further his expertise in both medicine and dentistry, Dr. Brewer later earned his MD from the University of Florida. By having both a DDS and MD, he is qualified to treat a broad range of conditions with exceptional care. 

Dr. Brewer is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), which holds him to the highest standard of care in the field. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), an organization that requires members to undergo rigorous evaluations and education requirements to meet and exceed national standards.

Personal Life and Interests

When he’s not at work, Dr. Brewer enjoys playing the piano and spending time with his family. He has a wife and two beautiful children, and they love traveling and exploring the outdoors together.
