  • About Dr. Chris Larson

    Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Dr. Chris Larson has been a part of California Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center for over 30 years. The son of two dentist parents, Dr. Larson felt a calling to pursue oral and maxillofacial surgery while in dental school. His passion for oral surgery and helping people is constantly reinforced every time he achieves improved oral health for his patients.

    Dr. Larson prides himself on being an ethical provider and taking the time to get to know his patients. He understands the value of treating patients as people and applies this belief to every patient who walks through his doors. Since oral surgery can cause varying degrees of anxiety in many people, Dr. Larson strives to make every patient feel as comfortable as possible at his practice. From your first visit to your post-operative appointment, and everything in between, Dr. Larson is here for you.

    Education

    Dr. Larson received his undergraduate education at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, receiving a degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

    Residency

    Dr. Larson completed his residency training from UC Irvine and the Long Beach VA.

    Personal Life and Interests

    Dr. Larson loves the Southern California sunshine and takes advantage of the great outdoors. You can often find him participating in an array of water sports and activities, such as scuba diving, fishing, and sailing.
